Maxx Sports Technologies Limited, also known as Maxx Sports TV, was founded in Pennsylvania with a focus on developing advanced sports video coaching tools. Canadian investors recognized the opportunity to utilize closed-circuit video technology in the context of ice hockey, leading to the company’s evolution.

In September 2015, Maxx Sports TV inked a deal with the Florida Panthers NHL hockey team. Subsequently, in December 2015, Maxx Sports initiated the streaming of recorded game clips featuring the Panthers. As of March 2016, Maxx Sports TV commenced live streaming of content from the Panthers IceDen, catering to sports enthusiasts around the globe.

Maxx Sports TV is currently in negotiations with multiple professional sports teams and two prominent sports leagues to introduce its innovative robotic broadcast system to a wider audience. The company plans to launch three new venues by May 2017.

Maxx Sports TV leverages the powerful AWS Content Distribution Network, the same platform used by Netflix, to ensure seamless content delivery. In addition, the platform utilizes Authorize.net, a debit and credit card processor owned by Visa International that is PCI security compliant.

By the end of 2017, Maxx Sports TV is committed to distributing its content across a wide range of over-the-top video streaming devices, apps, and computers. This includes popular platforms such as Roku, Chromecast, FireTV, AppleTV, Xbox, PlayStation, iPods, iPhones, Android phones and tablets, smart televisions, and Windows mobile devices.

Maxx Sports TV is now available on various platforms including the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Amazon App Store, FireTV, and Roku. The Xbox launch is scheduled for June 2017.
