MotoStream

What it does

MotoStream is a car-sharing marketplace in Morocco where local owners rent out their cars to renters through a website and iOS and Android apps. IndaPoint redesigned the landing and inner pages from the client's new design, then added the trust layer a sharing platform needs.

Renters and hosts verify their ID with a live camera scan before they rent or host. Desktop users finish the scan on their phone through a QR code, link or email. Hosts scan proof of insurance, maintenance records and proof of ownership when listing a car, and can add excess insurance by day, month or year. After each rental, an AI car scan compares before and after photos and produces a PDF report.

The problem

Sharing a car means trusting a stranger. Hosts need to know who is renting, renters need to know a car is owned, maintained and insured, and without clear before-and-after records any new scratch turns into an argument. The website also needed a fresh design to explain the idea well.
